Pursuant to Senate Bill 354 (Middle Grades Reform Act) and PL 107-110 Section 116 (c)(7)(a), a district initiative must be presented to the local board for approval.

The District Improvement Plan and the District Assistance and Intervention Plan 2005 - 2006 is required because all of our schools are required to implement the District Reading Plan and three Title I schools are in their third year of Schools in Need of Improvement (SINI).
